As we are starting to see more mobility and the lifting of some restrictions, ensuring client safety is of utmost importance to me right now. Knowing that it is in the forefront of everyone’s mind, I wanted to share the strict protocols that my service providers and I have in place for the entire process of buying and selling real estate. Below is an outline of those measures that will hopefully ease your mind as we navigate this changing world.

VIRTUAL MEETINGS: Before we begin the process of preparing your home, we will meet virtually to discuss your marketing plan, pricing your home & timing. All documents will be sent to you in advance, so you are ready to ask any questions during our initial consultation.
ENTERING YOUR HOME: All of my professional service providers including photographers, stagers, inspectors and myself will wear personal protective items including masks & gloves and use sanitization cleaning products to wipe anything we may need to touch.
BEFORE IN PERSON SHOWINGS: Sherry and her team will provide the potential Buyer with floor plans, 3D Matterport imaging and professional photography. We will ensure the buyer is qualified and well informed before we open your property to them.
SHOWING YOUR HOME: Sherry will open the home before every showing. That means turning on the lights and opening the blinds and making sure the property is ready to view with minimal need for the buyer to touch anything. After the showing Sherry will return to close the property and sanitize door handles and light switches for your safety.
THE OFFER: Virtual presentation of the offer will be made to you via Zoom and or Facetime to ensure you understand the Contract of Purchase and Sale, we can discuss the details, ask questions and plan our strategies and responses. All documents can be signed electronically via DocuSign. It is very user friendly!
CONSULTATION: A virtual meeting will ensure I know exactly what you’re looking for and provide listings that check yourboxes and price point. Introduce you to a mortgage professional to provide you with advice on prequalifying and your best mortgage options.
PREVIEWING THE HOME: A Portal to the Whistler Listing System will provide you with listings that suite your needs and budget. All photos and 3D matterport imaging will be sent to you to virtually walk through the property. Sherry will also virtually meet for a walk through and answer any questions you may have. This will help you to get a real time feel for the property.
VIEWING THE PROPERTY: Once we have concluded that this is a property you want to physically visit a showing will be set up with the listing agent. Gloves, masks and hand sanitizer will be provided and 2 metre separation will be maintained.
THE OFFER: We will meet via Zoom and or Facetime to ensure you understand the Contract of Purchase and Sale, we can discuss the details, I will answer your questions and plan our strategies for the Offer to Purchase. All documents can be signed electronically via DocuSign. It is very user friendly!
