REAL ESTATE UPDATE

The month of April, Whistler sales saw just over $83 Million in total dollar volume, the average sale price for properties has increased to $1,205,970 and there were 69 total real estate transactions. There were 21 sales in Pemberton in the month of April, equal to April 2016 sales, and well above March's 9 sales. There were approximately $8.1 million in sales in April, up about 17% from the pervious April's $6.9 million. The Squamish real estate market continues to grow. There were 86 sales in transactions in April. In terms of total dollar volume, there were $60.3 million in sales, a 25% increase when compared to March 2016. Municipality secures key historical site through the purchase of Parkhurst and Soo Valley Logging Company lands. - The Resort Municipality of Whistler (RMOW) has purchased a 200-acre parcel of land adjacent to the north end of Green Lake, which contains the historical Parkhurst town and Soo Valley Logging Company sites.
